On the Tuesday, October 29th edition of ‘Tamron Hall,’ Grammy Award-winning rapper and actor T.I. opened up about the recent, tragic losses of both his sister Precious and of Nipsey Hussle, who died in February and March 2019, respectively. T.I. shared his views on grief, saying: “I think that grieving, although it's a natural human act, it's a bit selfish. It's about our pain. Because they know no more pain. So we’re grieving and feeling bad because we don’t get to experience their physical presence anymore. I think if we become considerate of what's in their best interest, I think we have to accept that at a certain time, it's time to let go and give it to God.” 

While discussing T.I.’s groundbreaking Netflix series “Rhythm + Flow,” Tamron asked T.I. about his view of ‘cancel culture.’ T.I. disclosed that he thought ‘cancel culture’ is fake, noting that while he doesn’t always agree with Kanye West, he stood by his side when he was “cancelled” (Watch clip HERE).

T.I. later spoke about his marriage to Tameka Dianne ‘Tiny’ Harris (Watch clip HERE), saying that amidst headlines surrounding separation and divorce, that him and ‘Tiny’ “were never apart.”

Also on today’s show, Tamron welcomed former NFL player, Wade Davis, who shared his experience with coming out, the stereotypes of masculinity, and his mission to change education on gender (Watch clip HERE). Davis discussed how every children’s book or story is focused on a man doing something to make the world a better place and how he’d like to see more women in the forefront, saying that “The #MeToo movement is a gift for men.”
