The documentary depicts the chilling story of the Nazi persecution and extermination of European Jews by combining newly colorized footage from the Holocaust and rare, first person interviews with survivors. Academy Award-winning actor Ben Kingsley (Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story, Schindler's List, Anne Frank: The Whole Story and Operation Finale) narrates. Seventy-five years after the liberation, survivors, who were young children at the time of the Holocaust, reflect on the tragic circumstances that lead to their internment and reveal the ways in which they survived the brutal Nazi campaign. "Auschwitz Untold" features moving and revealing testimony of more than 15 Holocaust survivors including the seldom heard voice of a Romani survivor and a member of the Jewish underground who participated in armed resistance against the Nazis. "I'm honored to lend my voice to this crucial documentary, and to have the opportunity to tell these heart-wrenching stories from a dark period in our collective history. We must never forget the atrocities of the past and keep alive the memory of the millions who perished in such tragic circumstances," said Kingsley.
