LOS ANGELES (Jan. 19, 2020) —The complete roster of exemplary talent who will be on stage at the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT was announced today. The show will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS. The telecast also is made available with Spanish subtitles and is distributed internationally, including to U.S. military installations through the American Forces Network.
A highlight of the evening will be Leonardo DiCaprio presenting the 56th SAG Life Achievement Award to Robert De Niro. More information about Robert De Niro and the Award can be found here.
A full list of actors who will be presenting the Stunt Ensemble Awards during the People, Entertainment Weekly & TNT Red Carpet Live: 26th SAG Awards Pre-Show, as well as introducing clips of their film’s cast performances, presenting special tributes, and awarding the SAG Awards Actors® statuettes for outstanding film and television performances are as follows (in alphabetical order):
Jason Bateman (Ozark, The Outsider) received an Actor® plus two additional SAG Award® nominations for his lead performance in Ozark, which also earned him an Emmy® and multiple Golden Globe® nominations. Additionally, he received five SAG Award nominations as the lead actor in Arrested Development, as well as a Golden Globe and multiple Emmy nominations.
Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things, Enola Holmes) is nominated for her performance in the Stranger Things drama ensemble. Her lead role in Stranger Things, as Eleven, has earned her five SAG Award nominations, including a SAG Award win for ensemble cast and two Primetime Emmy nominations.
Sterling K. Brown (This is Us, Waves) is a SAG Award nominee for his performance as Randall Pearson in This Is Us, for which he has received an Actor, Emmy and Golden Globe. He has received two additional Actors as a member of the This Is Us ensemble. His other honors include an Actor as a member of the Black Panther cast and an Emmy for his supporting role as Christopher Darden in American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson.
Logan Browning (Dear White People) stars as the lead role of Samantha White in the Netflix original series, Dear White People, for which she recently received her second consecutive NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. Last year, she starred opposite Allison Williams in Netflix’s film, The Perfection, from director Richard Shepard. Browning will be presenting the Stunt Ensemble Awards during the People, Entertainment Weekly & TNT Red Carpet Live: 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards Pre-Show.
Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) received two Actors, plus three additional SAG Award nominations for his leading role in Boardwalk Empire. He received an additional two Actors and three SAG Award ensemble cast nominations for Boardwalk Empire. His other honors include one Primetime Emmy, seven additional Emmy nominations, one Golden Globe, three additional Golden Globe nominations, and one Critics’ Choice® nomination. He currently co-stars opposite Daniel Radcliffe in the TBS anthology comedy series, Miracle Workers, executive produced by Lorne Michaels.
Gabrielle Carteris was re-elected SAG-AFTRA president on August 29, 2019. Carteris became president April 9, 2016 after serving two terms as executive vice president. An actor and an activist, Carteris became a household name playing Andrea Zuckerman on Beverly Hills, 90210 and recently starred in BH90210, a revival of the iconic show and has appeared in dozens of television shows.
Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones) is a five-time SAG Award nominee for her performance in the Game of Thrones drama ensemble in which she portrayed Brienne of Tarth. Her other honors include an Emmy nomination and a Critics' Choice nomination for supporting actress in Game of Thrones.
Glenn Close (Hillbilly Elegy, Four Good Days) is the recipient of two Actors for Outstanding Lead Female Actor in The Wife and Outstanding Female Actor in a Miniseries or TV movie for The Lion in Winter. A nine-time SAG Award nominee and a seven-time Academy Award nominee, Close is also a three-time Primetime Emmy winner, three-time Tony® winner, and three-time Golden Globe winner.
Choi Woo Shik (Parasite, Set Me Free) is nominated for his SAG Award as part of the Parasite cast, portraying Ki Woo. He has won numerous Best New Actor awards for his role as a wayward teenager in Set Me Free and has since gone on to give memorable performances in Train to Busan, The Witch: Part 1, The Subversion, and Okja.
Bruce Dern (Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, Nebraska) is nominated for his role in the Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood cast. He was previously nominated for his lead role in Nebraska, which also earned him Academy Award®, BAFTA®, and Golden Globe nominations.
Kaitlyn Dever (Unbelievable, Booksmart) stars alongside SAG Award nominee Toni Collette in the limited series, Unbelievable. Her role as Marie has earned her Golden Globe and Critics' Choice nominations. Dever was recognized by the Hollywood Critics Association as the 2020 Breakthrough Artist Under the Age of 23 and is also a 2020 BAFTA EE Rising Star nominee.
Leonardo DiCaprio (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Revenant) is a double SAG Award nominee for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, one for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor and the other as a member of the cast. In 2016, he won his first Actor for his lead role in The Revenant and had previously been nominated for eight SAG Awards. His other honors include an Oscar and three Golden Globes.
Daveed Diggs (Snowpiercer, Blindspotting) is a Grammy® and Tony Award winner for his role in the acclaimed Broadway musical, Hamilton. Since leaving Hamilton, he wrote, produced and starred in the 2018 film Blindspotting, which earned him a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. He will next be seen in TNT’s Snowpiercer and Pixar’s Soul.
Taron Egerton (Rocketman, The Kingsman) is a first time SAG Awards nominee for his lead role in Rocketman. His portrayal of Elton John also earned him a Golden Globe, a BAFTA nomination, and a Grammy nomination. Egerton is also known for his breakout role in Matthew Vaughn’s The Kingsman film series.
Cary Elwes (Stranger Things, Marvelous Mrs Maisel) is nominated for his first SAG Award for his performance in the Stranger Things ensemble. He is also in the third season of the award-winning comedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. His star making turn in Rob Reiner’s The Princess Bride is considered a timeless and iconic classic.
Dakota Fanning (Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood) is nominated for her performance in the Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood cast. At the age of seven, Fanning was nominated for her first SAG Award for her role in I am Sam, making her the youngest nominee in SAG Awards History.
America Ferrera (Superstore, Gentified) received an Actor for her leading role in Ugly Betty, a performance that also earned her a Golden Globe and Emmy. Currently, Ferrera executive produces and stars in NBC’s highly successful Superstore, where she has also directed several episodes. She also lends her vocal talents to the Oscar® nominated franchise films How to Train Your Dragon as Astrid.
Jennifer Garner (Yes Day) received an Actor for her lead role in Alias. Her performance as Sydney Bristow earned her a Golden Globe, four Emmy nominations, and an additional SAG Award nomination. She is currently working on Netflix’s Yes Day, a comedy based on the children’s book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, which she will star in and produce.
Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit) is nominated for his first SAG Award as a member of the Jojo Rabbit cast. In his film debut, his portrayal of Jojo Betzler has earned him a Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Actor and a Golden Globe nomination.
Danai Gurira (Black Panther, The Walking Dead) is an award-winning playwright and actress. She received a SAG Award for her performance in the Black Panther cast, a People’s Choice® Award and an NAACP Image Award. Distinguished as the first African female writer to have a play on Broadway, and to bring the perspective of African women to mainstream theater, her stage plays give voice to untold narratives, including Eclipsed, for which she received a Tony Award nomination.
Tom Hanks (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood) is an award-winning actor, producer and director. He is nominated for his supporting role in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
Scarlett Johannson (Jojo Rabbit, Marriage Story) is a first-time SAG Award nominee for her lead role in Marriage Story and her supporting role in Jojo Rabbit. She earned three SAG Award nominations this year, making her one of the most nominated actors. Her other honors include five Golden Globe nominations, one Tony, seven Critics' Choice nominations, one BAFTA, and three additional BAFTA nominations.
Jharrel Jerome (When They See Us) is nominated for an Actor recognizing his performance as Korey Wise in When They See Us. This is his first SAG Award nomination. He has won a Critics’ Choice Award and an Emmy for this performance as well.
Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies, the upcoming The Undoing) is a double SAG Award nominee for Bombshell, one for female actor and the other as a member of the cast. She also received a SAG Award nomination as a member of the Big Little Lies ensemble. Her other honors include an Actor, an Oscar, five Golden Globes, and two Emmys.
Lee Jung Eun (Parasite) is a first-time SAG Award nominee for her performance in the Parasite cast portraying Moon Gwang. She is also known for her roles in Ojka and The Wailing.
Lee Sun Kyun (Parasite) is nominated for his first SAG Award as part of the Parasite cast. He is most known for his role as the detective in A Hard Day or in the hit TV drama My Mister.
Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek) is a first-time SAG Award nominee for his performance in the Schitt’s Creek cast, a show that he co-created with his father Eugene Levy. For its fifth season, the show earned four Emmy nominations including Best Comedy Series, two SAG Award nominations including Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series, and five Critics’ Choice Award nominations including Best Comedy Series and one for Levy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek) received his first SAG Award nomination for his performance in Schitt’s Creek as Johnny Rose. He co-created the show with his son, Dan Levy, and it earned four Emmy nominations including one for Levy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, two SAG Award nominations, and five Critics' Choice Award nominations.
Lupita Nyong’o (Us, Black Panther) is nominated for her lead performance in Us. Her performance as Red and Adelaide have also earned her Critics’ Choice Award and NAACP Image Award nominations. Nyong’o has two Actors - one for her performance in the Black Panther cast and one for her supporting role in 12 Years a Slave, which also earned her Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. Her other honors include an Academy Award, a Critics' Choice Award, an NAACP Image Award, and a Tony nomination.
Park So Dam (Parasite) is a first-time SAG Award nominee for her performance in the Parasite cast, portraying the role of Ki Jung. She has been widely recognized as an up-and-coming talent for her hair-raising performance as a possessed girl in The Priests and as a student faced with horror in a boarding school under Japanese occupation in The Silenced.
Pedro Pascal (Wonder Woman 1984, The Mandalorian) has been nominated for a SAG Award for his role in the Game of Thrones ensemble as Oberyn Martell. He is best known for portraying the roles of Javier Peña in the Netflix series Narcos and the lead role in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
Margaret Qualley (Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood) is a first-time SAG Awards nominee for her performance in the Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood cast. Her other honors include an Emmy nomination and Critics' Choice nomination for her supporting role in Fosse/Verdon.
Lili Reinhart (Hustlers) stars as Annabelle in Hustlers alongside SAG Award nominee Jennifer Lopez. She is also known for portraying Betty Cooper on the drama Riverdale. This is her first time at the SAG Awards.
Margot Robbie (Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood, Upcoming Birds of Prey) is a triple SAG Award nominee, receiving nominations for her roles in the cast of Bombshell and Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood. She was also nominated for her supporting role in Bombshell, which earned her Golden Globe, Oscar and Critics' Choice nominations.
Song Kang Ho (Parasite) is a first-time SAG Award nominee for his performance in the Parasite cast. Some say he is the face of Korean cinema starring in many of the most iconic works in contemporary cinema and reached international prominence with his role Snowpiecer (2013). He is a longtime collaborator of Bong Joon Ho - this is their 4th film together.
Charlize Theron (Mad Max, Monster) is a double SAG Award nominee for Bombshell, one for female actor and the other as a member of the cast. The role also earned her Golden Globe and Oscar nominations. She previously received an Actor for lead role in Monster, for which she also received a Golden Globe and an Oscar.
Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, Dark Phoenix) is a six -time SAG Award nominee for her performance in the Game of Thrones drama ensemble, in which she portrayed Sansa Stark. Her other honors include an Emmy nomination for supporting actress in Game of Thrones and four People’s Choice nominations - two for Game of Thrones and two for her lead role in Dark Phoenix.
Courtney B. Vance is an Emmy, Tony, and Critics’ Choice award-winning actor who garnered numerous nominations, including SAG and Golden Globe nominations, for his critically acclaimed performance as Johnnie Cochran in the FX series American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson. He most recently appeared alongside Julia Roberts and Lucas Hedges in Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions’ Ben is Back¸ directed by Peter Hedges.
Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit) is a first-time SAG Award nominee as a member of the Jojo Rabbit cast. He wrote and directed Jojo Rabbit, based on the book Caging Skies, and plays Adolf Hitler, a young boy’s imaginary friend. He is also an Academy Award nominated writer/director for his short film Two Cars, One Night.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is a double SAG Award nominee for Fleabag, one for female actor and the other as a member of the ensemble. She created, wrote and starred in the comedy series, which has won three Emmys, two Golden Globes, and a BAFTA. She also wrote and produced Killing Eve, which has received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
