PBS KIDS SERIES IN SPANISH ON
PBS KIDS PRIME VIDEO CHANNEL THIS JANUARY

Arlington, VA – January 6, 2019 – PBS Distribution announced that new episodes from the Spanish-language versions of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Dinosaur Train,” and “SciGirls” will be streaming on the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel in January. In addition, two new series will join the Spanish-language library in January: “The Berenstain Bears” and “Peg + Cat.” These additions will expand the library to seven series and 100 episodes in Spanish.
The subscription rate for the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel is $4.99/month with an Amazon Prime or Prime Video subscription. Every purchase supports public television for all.
Families can also find full episodes of PBS KIDS series for free on PBS Stations, the PBS KIDS 24/7 Channel and PBS KIDS digital platforms, including pbskids.org and the PBS KIDS Video app.

The PBS KIDS programs joining the current Spanish-language lineup include “The Berenstain Bears” and “Peg + Cat.” “The Berenstain Bears Volumes 1 & 2” includes 10 episodes. The program follows a loveable family of bears including Mama and Papa Bear, who raise their cubs, Brother Bear and Sister Bear, and teach them about family, relationships and life lessons. “Peg + Cat Volume 1” contains 10 adventures that take them through worlds of infinite possibilities - from farms to purple planets, from 16th-century Verona to New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, from a land of pirates to a prehistoric valley – demonstrating that math is everywhere.

In addition, PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel will also add “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Volumes 2 – 4.” These volumes include 30 episodes where Daniel and his friends learn social skills necessary for school and life. “Dinosaur Train Volumes 2 & 3” includes 18 additional episodes. Viewers join Buddy and his adoptive Pteranodon family on voyages through prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans. Also streaming in January, 10 episode from “SciGirls Volume 2.” Animated characters Izzie and Jake get into various jams that only real-life SciGirls can solve.
Other PBS KIDS programs streaming Spanish-language versions on PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel are “Caillou,” whose boundless imagination makes every experience a fun learning opportunity, and “Cyberchase,”which shows students how to apply their math skills to the real world.
